It is definitely apple season here in North Carolina and I am always looking for fun seasonal drinks to serve to friends. This sparkling apple cider sangria is absolutely delicious! You are going to want to serve this at your next ladies’ brunch or evening book club. It is so versatile and very easy to make!
Elderflower liqueur is one of my favorites. The most common one is St. Germain. Heavenly! A St. Germain and champagne cocktail is a common combination. By adding apple cider, you make the drink a little more seasonal, and you reduce the alcohol content a little.
To make a pretty sugared rim for any fun fall drink, dip the rim of your glass on a plate with honey – make sure it’s evenly coated. Then, twirl your honeyed rim in coarse sugar. You can also use fun colored sugars to make your rims even more festive!

Ingredients
- 2 c apple cider
- 1/2 c elderflower liqueur
- 1 bottle prosecco
- 1/2 apple sliced
- 1/2 c cranberries
Instructions

Combine apple cider, elderflower liqueur, and prosecco. Garnish with apple slices and cranberries or pomegranate seeds.
