jalapeno poppers

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers {Video}

I can remember the first time I had a bacon-wrapped jalapeno popper. I immediately wanted ten more of them. Spicy, cheesy, delicious. Jump to Recipe

I made this quick little video ages ago to show people how easy it is to make these for yourself! I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get the recipe actually posted.

It’s incredibly easy! I promise. You need to make these for your next party. If I had any interest in the big football game coming up, I would be having a party and making these. Maybe I will just find a party and bring these little nuggets of deliciousness.

Jalapeno Poppers!

I knew I had to figure out how to make these myself because they are just so darn expensive to buy them and my favorite spot to get them only sells them about 10 at a time. That’s barely one jalapeno per kid and five for me – the kids aren’t happy with that ratio.

I highly recommend you wear gloves to slice and seed all the jalapenos you are going to need for this project. And, if you don’t wear gloves, try not to rub your eyes immediately after prepping them all … I speak from experience.

Jalapeno poppers – must have cheese!

I think I could just eat sliced jalapenos stuffed with cheese … but everything is better with bacon so, after slicing, seeding, and stuffing with cheese, wrap your jalapenos in bacon.

I usually wrap my jalapenos with only a half slice of bacon, but you could use a whole one. It depends how big your jalapenos are.
